Dr. Janmenjoy Nayak is working as an Assistant Professor, Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University, Baripada, Odisha, India- 757003, India. He has been awarded INSPIRE Research Fellowship from Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India (both as JRF and SRF level) for doing his Doctoral Research in the Department of Computer Sc. Engineering & Information Technology, Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Burla, Odisha, India. He has completed his Master of Technology degree (Gold Medalist & Topper of the Batch) in Computer Science from Fakir Mohan University, Balasore, Odisha, India and Master of Computer Science degree (Gold Medalist & Topper of the Batch) in Computer Science from Ravenshaw University, Cuttack, Odisha, India. He has also authored one Text book on “Formal Languages and Automata Theory” in Vikash Publishing House Pvt. Ltd., which has been widely acclaimed throughout the country by the students of all levels. He has edited 10 books on the applications of Computational Intelligence, Soft Computing, data analytics and pattern recognition, published by Springer International publication. He is the recipient of Best researcher award from Jawaharlal Nehru University of Technology, Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh for the AY: 2018-19, Outstanding Reviewer for the Journal “Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence” for 2017, by Elsevier Publications many more into his account. He is the associated editor of the journal IEEE ACCESS aand other reputed peer-reviewed international journals. He has been serving as an active member of reviewer committee over 50+ reputed peer reviewed journals such as IEEE Transactions, Elsevier, Springer. He has published more than 170+ referred articles in various book chapters, conferences and International repute peer reviewed journals of Elsevier, Inderscience, Springer, IEEE etc. He has edited 12 Special Issues in different topics of Computational Intelligence, Data Mining and Soft Computing, published by Springer, Inderscience publishers. He has a total 12 years of experience in both teaching and research. He is the senior member of IEEE and life member of some of the reputed societies like CSI India, Soft Computing Research Society of IndiaOrissa Information Technology Society (OITS), Orissa Mathematical Society (OMS), IAENG (Hongkong) etc. He has successfully conducted (20+ International Springer Conference) and is being associated with International repute series conferences like ICCIDM, HIS, ARIAM, CIPR, SCDA etc. His area of interest includes data mining, applied artificial intelligence, nature inspired algorithms and soft computing.
